The regional CFO team is responsible for providing technical accounting to the life and non-life business in the APAC region.
The role entails a broad range of responsibilities and offers many development opportunities and will be reporting to the Head of Technical Accounting Life and Health.
Your job- Support with IFRS 17 and IFRS 9 coordination, implementation and stabilisation for Life and Health business across Asia offices
- Assisting with IFRS17 reconciliations, related control procedures and establishing an effective quarterly closing process postIFRS 17 and IFRS9 implementation
- Assist with preparation and maintaining adequate documentation of internal processes and ensure compliance with internal guidelines
- Coordinate and liase with Finance, Valuation, Head office to establish smooth and efficient IFRS17 and IFRS9 quarterly reporting processes.
- Support the overall quarterly closing process and reporting to Head Office
- Lead and support projects and other adhoc tasks as assigned
Profile:
- Degree in Accounting, or with professional accounting qualification such as ACCA, CIMA etc
- Auditing experience in audit firm preferred.
- Good Microsoft Excel skills
- VBA, Power Query or prior automation experience are highly regarded. SAP knowledge would be an advantage
- Ableto lead projects and perform financial analysis on various accounting topic initiatives
- Effective oral and written communication skills with staff, peers, superiors and internal / external stakeholders
- Strong service orientation and a drive to make a difference
