Roles & Responsibilities

Job Summary

The MAS/ASIC Re-write PO is responsible for maximizing the business value of the product resulting from work done by the transformation teams. Working with the SPO & Regime leads towards successful delivery of the MAS & ASIC re-write harmonization onto the new StAR platform

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure close collaboration and a unified service delivery across the interrelated Data, Regulatory, Margin Operations and wider FMO and banks
  • Assisting in creating and maintaining a prioritised MAS & ASIC Backlogs with the relevant stream POs, ensuring it is visible, transparent and clear
  • Assist in ensuring all MAS & ASIC artefacts and assurance deliverables, including the Initial Release Plan and other associated mandatory milestones and tracking and reporting delivery against the Initial Release Plan
  • Assist in ensuring the Agile Delivery Team members understand control items in the Product Backlogs to the level needed and leverage the wider scrum or scrum and cross streams forums
  • Helping in communicating MAS & ASIC build progress outside the core Agile Delivery Team to key stakeholders
  • Overseeing change and delivering the MAS & ASIC processes into Production/BAU.

Regulatory & Business Conduct

  • Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. This includes understanding and ensuring compliance with, in letter and spirit, all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and the Group Code of Conduct.
  • Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters

Our Ideal Candidate

  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in related discipline
  • 6+ years of relevant experience preferably in OTC Derivatives Regulatory Reporting domain
  • Proficiency with applicable project management and/or business analysis tools and technology
  • Experience in business/regulatory reporting requirement and acceptance criteria documentation, UAT scenario design, implementing regulatory change in relation to ASIC, HKMA and MAS Transaction reporting.
  • In-depth understanding of OTC Derivatives Regulatory Reporting requirements in APAC jurisdictions such as MAS, HKMA and MAS
  • Excellent knowledge of OTC Derivatives products and financial markets
  • Proficiency in Agile development methodologies and experience working in Agile environments.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Stakeholder management skills
