Key responsibilities:

  • Drive Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process for Surgical to achieve optimal demand/supply management. This includes developing, maintaining and monitoring all S&OP processes in the franchise including target setting, training, process maintenance and tool set use, to achieve an effective S&OP process.
  • The single point of contact for commercial teams for all supply chain related topics including demand and supply management, transportation, and W&D
  • Lead cross functional teams to resolve supply constraints, product launches, or other supply chain related initiatives.
  • Provide direction and updates to commercial leadership on product constraints, supply chain constraints, quality holds, demand variations that creates disruptions greater than three days
  • Demonstrate alignment to global demand and supply planning process.
  • Fully understand and convey franchise unique needs, develop informational decks/reporting to clearly assess plans, including supporting data, analysis, and new developments in supply upsides and constraints.
  • Assist franchise in identifying, training and supporting country representatives, demonstrating an effective and sustainable S&OP process.
  • Lead unit and dollar demand forecast (including revenue and samples) review with franchise counterparts.
  • Work alongside franchise counterparts to align current S&OP demand forecast submission against market activities and sales trends.
  • Identify gaps between current plans and financial commitments, derive possible gap closing initiatives and highlight the risks and opportunities.
  • Drive accuracy from the countries and submit ontime to Global counterparts a complete forecast that accurately reflects the market(s) demand, for short and long term horizons.
  • Partner with the Global, Regional, and Local Marketing teams on the product portfolio by overseeing franchise product launches/ rationalization/ special promotions, including communications to regulatory group and other key stakeholders.
  • Act as Regional SME for forecasting statistical models and their best fit for different product groups, assigned business franchise, and different business scenarios (e.g. product launches, cannibalization etc.), train, coach and provide feedback to Regional and country teams on best forecasting methods
  • Drive optimal regional S&OP process for a specified subfranchise. Ensure alignment to global demand & supply planning process. Fully understand & convey subfranchise unique specific needs, develop informational slides to clearly assess plans, including support data, analysis and new developments in supply upsides and constraints.
  • Work with market/cluster demand managers to align current demand forecast submission against market activities and sales trend. Ensure and Challenge data for consistency and logical known business events.
  • Participate in global S&OP reviews, interacts with global teams to drive demand / supply management plan throughout the process to ensure financial and customer requirement are achieved.

Education (minimum/desirable):

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
Languages

  • English fluency, written and verbal
Relevant Experiences
- minimum 5 years relevant experience in related field required.
- strong background in S&OP
- good communication skills and stakeholder management skills
- systems: must-have: SAP (IBP module - integrated business planning); added-advantage - tableau system
- good analysis skills
- intermediate to advanced excel skills.
