Job Description

  • Handle day to day operations for purchasing, new product sourcing and/or supplier quality management.
  • Invite quotations, evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, selection, service/support, availability, eligibility, production and distribution capabilities, supplier's reputation/history and complete purchase requisitions for approval.
  • Maintain and review from time to time an efficient and effective supplier base that best supports the business and operational requirements.
  • Reconcile and analyse past and future inventory demand volumes, inventory trends and make forecast to minimise wastages or surplus.
  • Ensure costeffective products and services are provided to the business with consistent quality.
  • Ensure discrepancies in purchases, purchase orders and invoices are reconciled at end month to process payment to suppliers.
  • Prepare and follow up purchase orders and expedite delivery.
  • Review monthly orders and consumption.
  • Work closely with Central Kitchen and Operations department on R&D.
  • Confer with staff, users, and vendors to discuss defective or unacceptable goods or services and determine corrective action.
  • Any other adhoc administrative tasks assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma or equivalent from a recognised institution.
  • Minimum 13 years of procurement experience within food & beverage sector.
  • Fundamental knowledge of Supply Chain & Inventory management.
  • Have experience with CRM/SAP system will be an added advantage and familiar with G Suite.
