Event Manager

The Event Manager will be responsible for planning, organizing, and executing a variety of events, ranging from corporate conferences to community festivals.
This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.The Event Manager will work closely with clients, vendors, and internal teams to ensure that each event is executed flawlessly and meets the objectives and expectations of all stakeholders.
**Responsibilities: - Plan, organize, and execute a wide range of events, including corporate meetings, conferences, trade shows, fundraisers, weddings, and social gatherings.- Develop event concepts, themes, and timelines in collaboration with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Coordinate all aspects of event logistics, including venue selection, catering, transportation, audiovisual equipment, and décor.
- Manage event budgets, negotiate contracts with vendors, and track expenses to ensure costeffective planning.
- Oversee event setup, breakdown, and onsite coordination to ensure smooth execution and resolve any issues that arise.
- Communicate effectively with clients, vendors, and team members to ensure clear expectations and seamless collaboration throughout the event planning process.
- Evaluate the success of each event and identify areas for improvement to enhance future events.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, Communications, or related field.
- Proven experience in event planning and management, with a minimum of 7 years in a similar role.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fastpaced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate with clients, vendors, and team members.
- Proficiency in event management software and tools, such as event planning software, project management systems, and Microsoft Office suite.
- Knowledge of best practices in event planning, including budgeting, contract negotiation, vendor management, and risk management
- Creative thinking and problemsolving skills, with the ability to adapt to changing circumstances and find innovative solutions to challenges.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed to accommodate event schedules and deadlines.
