Duties & Responsibilities

The intern will collaborate with Marriott's L+D team...

Key responsibilities include:

  • Partner with the Learning Specialist in managing programs for APEC region
  • Schedule training programs with L+D Delivery Leads
  • Update Training Calendar
  • Manage program enrollments and confirmations
  • Generate post-test reports and program evaluations
  • Utilize various learning platforms to enhance participants' learning experience
  • Gain insights into training workshops and projects within L+D functions
  • Work on managing IMTNs across different markets in APEC
  • Perform additional duties as required to meet business needs

Learning Objectives

  • Acquire knowledge of L+D functions in the Hospitality sector in APEC
  • Understand the distinctions in L+D department functions between Above Property and On-Property
  • Explore the range of trainings provided at Marriott
  • Appreciate the tasks involved in successful program deployment and delivery
  • Enhance the learning experience through Marriott's blended learning approach
  • Develop positive relationships with team members across L+D functions

Job Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

We seek university students passionate about pursuing a career in Development, possessing the following attributes:

  • Quick learning and adapting in a fast-paced environment
  • Detail-oriented, structured, and organized
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in spoken and written English
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office, especially MS Excel and MS PowerPoint
  • Excellent Analytical and Numeracy Skills

Qualification Standard

Education:

Preferably undergraduate in Social Sciences, Business Management, Economics, or Marketing

Requirements

Singaporean, Singapore Permanent Resident Holder, or student pass/work holiday pass holder

Eligible to enroll in a Singapore university program or a graduate from universities in specified countries

Available for a six months' internship commitment
