Roles & Responsibilities

Overview:

We are looking for a proactive sales professional to take on a newly created role dedicated to expanding our business in the marine industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a strategic business plan to target the marine market, driving sales growth and profitability.
  • Lead sales initiatives, ensuring clarity in team roles and responsibilities.
  • Create and implement effective strategies to discover and pursue new sales opportunities.
  • Provide regular performance evaluations to the Sales Manager.
  • Offer precise and competitive pricing to potential customers with a focus on maximizing profits.
  • Manage expenses to remain within established budget limits.
  • Actively seek out sales prospects among Ship Managers and Owners, prepare and follow up on quotes, manage customer orders, and handle assigned tasks.
  • Collaborate with Service Managers or Coordinators to facilitate customer communication and support project-related activities.
  • Provide bi-weekly sales reports and progress updates to the Sales Manager.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of sales experience in the marine electronics industry.
  • Knowledge of marine products is a plus.
  • Proven track record in developing business within the marine sector.
  • Highly proactive and results-driven individual.
