Singapur, Singapore Nanyang Technological University Full time

Executive/Senior Executive, External Affairs

NTU's Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine (LKCMedicine) is a prominent medical school deeply involved in cutting-edge medical research and education. LKCMedicine emerged from a fruitful collaboration between NTU and Imperial College London, culminating in 2023 after a successful 18-year partnership. Starting from the 2024 intake, the MBBS programme will transition to being solely awarded as an NTU degree. In light of this transition, the Office of External Affairs has been established to pioneer the creation of new collaborations with international institutions. Joining as the third member of this dynamic team, you will enjoy significant autonomy.

  • The Executive will be primarily located at the Novena campus, with occasional visits to NTU.
  • The ideal candidate should showcase a capability for independent work and a strong sense of ownership across a diverse spectrum of responsibilities, ranging from daily data entry to adept problem-solving.
  • The Office of External Affairs collaborates closely with all departments within the School and maintains a strong bond with the Office of International Engagement at NTU.

This role presents a valuable hands-on experience, opening avenues to engage with a wide range of stakeholders beyond just academia. Given the department's nascent stage, there is ample room for exploration and testing of novel ideas. NTU fosters a supportive work environment, including perks like one telecommuting day weekly, health check-ups, sports activities, and access to training programs.

  • The ideal candidate should exhibit a strong willingness to learn, possess effective communication skills (both oral and written), and relish in strategizing and collaborating with diverse stakeholders, while being adaptable to sudden changes.
  • Prior experience in event and workshop coordination is a plus, along with strong analytical abilities and proficiency in working with numbers.
