The Collection Strategy Team is responsible for the end-to-end implementation and maintenance of the Collections dashboard, reports, analysis used by our lending business in Southeast Asia.

Get to know the Role


As the Manager with deep analytics skills, you will analyze Grab's Lending data to develop insights about user behaviours, risk profile and tendency of historical figures.

You will translate these insights into recommended actions to increase key Collection matrix.

The Day-to-Day Activities:

  • Responsible for all regular reports and adhoc collection related analysis for all countries.
  • Ensure agent incentive is computed and paid correctly as per the incentive scheme.
  • Work closely with country collection managers and data team for all datarelated inquiries and risk for LI and repayment rate targets.
  • Provide support in designing and executing dynamic collection strategies for the backend (late, DPD >90+) collections. Ensure qualified accounts are endorsed to External collection agency (ECA) monthly and track their repayment and performance.
  • Monitor backend strategies and ensure operations are up and running in all 6 countries
  • Assist country collection managers in preparing and forecasting budget (e.g. number of agents, collection activity cost
  • SMS, Telco, Incentive, LOD among others).

The Must-Haves:

  • Must know how to use MS Office, Gsuite (Gsheet, Gslides), Tableau, and JIRA.
  • Strengths in problemsolving, ability to work effectively in a deadlinedriven work environment, attention to detail and ability to multitask.
  • Ability to work in an everchanging environment. Ability to work with many stake holders belonging to different countries and departments.
  • Ability to connect the dots quickly and report what could have gone wrong.
  • Good verbal and communication skills
  • MS SQL coding skills is good to have.
  • Lending and Collections background
  • Understand Lending / collections metrics, activities, strategies, workflow, and systems
  • Understand the end to end strategy, code, test and release to Production

The Nice-to-Haves

  • Experience in dealing with draganddrop strategy and modeling tools. Ability to setup and test strategies/flows in decision enginebased tools.
  • Ability to work with multiple systems dialer, collections software and debug issues
