According to the Moet Hennessy Purchasing global policy and Moet Hennessy Asia Pacific procedures, the Regional Buyer serves as a strategic business partner to the brands, ensuring the timely and competitive sourcing of high-quality goods, services, and business solutions that add value. The role encompasses South Asia countries: Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, India, Vietnam, Australia, New Zealand, and the Philippines. It may also involve Travel Retail. Main Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Purchasing Manager in defining and implementing purchasing strategies and rosters
  • Conduct market benchmarking and analyze other LVMH Maisons
  • Develop and manage a KPI dashboard to enhance performance
  • Cultivate relationships with MH purchasing community and LVMH Purchasing Community
Key Duties:
  • Ensure compliance throughout the purchasing process
  • Initiate RFQs to selected suppliers, analyze and negotiate results in collaboration with internal clients
  • Manage schedules and objectives with top-notch project management skills
  • Organize working sessions, business reviews, and supplier evaluations
  • Review and manage contracts, supplier/agency negotiations, track key contracts & expiry dates
Requirements:
  • Background in Purchasing
  • Diplomatic and client-oriented
  • Curious and eager to learn
  • Strong team player with analytical and effective database management skills
  • Excellent negotiation, presentation, and coordination abilities
  • Result-oriented, accountable, and efficient
  • Emphasis on compliance, integrity, and social sustainability
  • Fluent in English, proficiency in French advantageous
