Job Title: APAC Head of Channels and Alliances

Job Description: The APAC Head of Channels and Alliances will lead the development and execution of the strategy for channel sales, partnerships, and alliances within the Asia-Pacific region. This position focuses on establishing and nurturing robust partner relationships to drive revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Channel and Alliance Strategy

  • Formulate and execute a comprehensive channel and alliances strategy for the APAC region, encompassing Cloud Hyperscalers, Global and regional system integrators, and resellers.
  • Recognize key market opportunities and partnerships to broaden our reach.
  • Ensure alignment of the strategy with company goals and objectives.

Partner Recruitment and Management

  • Identify, recruit, and onboard strategic channel partners and alliances.
  • Cultivate strong partner relationships, acting as the primary point of contact.
  • Sustain the effective partnership with the Google Cloud and expand the regional partnership with Amazon Web Services and Microsoft.
  • Collaborate with partners to devise joint business plans and establish mutual goals.

Revenue Growth

  • Boost revenue growth through partner channels and alliances.
  • Collaborate closely with partners and the Neo4j field and partner marketing teams to craft and implement go-to-market strategies.
  • Monitor and report on partner performance and financial targets.

Market Insights

  • Stay abreast of market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities.
  • Collect market insights and customer feedback to shape partnership strategies.
  • Identify opportunities for product and service enhancements.

Contract Negotiations

  • Oversee contract negotiations and finalize partnership agreements.
  • Collaborate with legal and finance teams to ensure agreements comply with all legal and financial requirements.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies and industry regulations.

Team Leadership

  • Lead and supervise a team responsible for channel and alliance management.
  • Establish clear goals and KPIs for the team and offer coaching and guidance.
  • Nurture a culture of high performance, collaboration, and ongoing learning.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
  • 8+ years of experience in channel sales, partnerships, or alliances, with a minimum of 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Demonstrated success in building and managing strategic channel partnerships and alliances with Cloud Service Providers, system integrators, and value-add resellers across the APAC region. Ideal candidates will have worked as Cloud Service Providers for the last 4 years and have been involved in cloud sales or partnership roles.
  • Experience creating partnerships in the Data and AI vendor ecosystem.
  • Established background in Data, Analytics, and AI sales, consulting, and/or ISV roles in those industry areas.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the APAC market and its dynamics. Previous experience driving channel business in the APAC region.
  • Superior leadership, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making abilities.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency with CRM and sales technology.
