Business Function
Group Finance aims to deliver world-class standards in reporting, financial planning and finance processes. We provide insights and analyses that help the bank make sound business decisions – whether in the areas of product development or customer profitability. We also provide capital management, business planning, forecasting, and tax and accounting advisory services.
The bank is also a certified Accredited Training Organisation (ATO) for the Singapore Qualification Programme by the Singapore Accountancy Commission and an Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) Approved Employer.
Responsibilities
Support month-end close and prepare monthly business performance reports (Flash and Actuals) and forming objective insights. Support expense management and reports including strategic cost management initiatives. Conduct deep dives and insightful financial analytics to highlight focus areas especially in Revenue, Expenses and balance sheet. Coordinate and develop appropriate performance metric/systems in support of strategic intent. Coordinate and prepare Group IBG annual budgeting and forecast exercise. Create scalability and efficiency through streamlining and automating reporting processes. Participate in team initiatives including digitization, reduction of manual processes to create a more efficient workflow. Participate in cross functional project work and new product proposals to help drive the strategic agenda.Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Business, Finance or any related discipline is preferred. Min 4-6 years post qualification experience preferably in business unit control or MIS reporting in international banks. Team player with good interpersonal, communication and problem-solving skills. Strong self-motivation, with ability to function independently and effectively in a self-directed environment. High attention to detail & willingness to continuously strive towards higher standards. Conversant in handling high volume of data, sound knowledge of application software such as Excel and PowerPoint. Knowledge of Hyperion SmartView and QlikView is a plus.Apply Now
