Overview of job


Reporting to the Head of Total Rewards (TR), APAC, the Rewards, Manager, APAC will assist with the implementation and delivery of strategic reward programmes that will attract, retain and motivate our employees across all of APAC with a focus on SEA.


The role holder will collaborate with the Compensation and Benefits team and the wider HR and Finance community (both across APAC and globally) to support the delivery of the reward agenda for GroupM's 13,000+ employees across all of APAC (c37,500 globally).


Responsibilities

  • Support all compensation matters across APAC, including support with new hire compensation, build and administer guidelines for daily comp management and other business as usual processes.
  • Support the Head of TR, APAC with management and delivery of reward cycle activities (incentive plans and salary reviews) across APAC, working closely with the regional HR partners and management teams, to ensure coordination regionally.
  • Manage benchmarking activities, refresh of salary ranges and job architecture to ensure we remain competitive and an employer of choice.
  • Manage the governance and process of all compensation and benefit policies across APAC as directed by the Head of TR, APAC including partnership with the CFOs and CPOs across the SEA region as well as other relevant HR professionals.
  • Support data analytics, reporting and governance workstreams to ensure the provision of accurate and reliable HR reporting.
  • Act as a trusted partner to HR partners on all compensation matters.
  • Manage ad hoc projects, as required by business needs.
  • Help with benefits design work, especially with insurance renewals and wellbeing related projects.
  • Build templates that help drive better budgeting, easy benchmarking information, cost of the current incumbents etc
  • Consult on various labour law changes as appropriate.

Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities_**- Undergraduate degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Management, or a related field.

  • Prior 35 years experience in Rewards, preferably with WorldatWork Rewards/ Certified Rewards Professional certification (or currently pursuing)
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills preferred.
  • Experience working in a matrixed organisation.
  • A client service focus, with strong relationship management skills, and an ability to understand and articulate the needs of stakeholders across the organisation.
  • Experience of managing projects in an organised manner, with demonstrated track record of success.
  • Highly numerate and analytical, with a detail orientated focus.
  • Ability to take ownership, work independently, and exercise good judgement.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to communicate in a clear and wellstructured manner.
  • Strong problemsolving skills.
  • Energy, enthusiasm and confidence.
