About the Job:

This leadership position is key to maintaining the financial health of the organization, overseeing HR & administrative functions, and ensuring adherence to risk & governance policies.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, analyze, and present precise financial reports, such as budgets, forecasts, and variances, to the Board and senior management.
  • Establish and uphold financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry best practices.
  • Suggest improvements to financial and management reports for more insightful reporting and data-driven decisions by senior management and the Board.
  • Supervise day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed asset register, and general ledger functions.
  • Maintain accurate donation records and ensure timely provision of tax-deductible receipts to donors.
  • Collaborate with department heads to develop annual budgets in line with the organization's strategic objectives.
  • Forecast and manage cash flow to fulfill operational needs and strategic goals.
  • Optimize investment strategies while safeguarding the organization's financial stability.
  • Collaborate with the Executive Director and managers to create materials for proposals, manage grant applications, and monitor submissions.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, accounting standards, and governance policies.
  • Ensure timely submission of annual returns and adherence to Governance Evaluation Checklist.
  • Coordinate both external and internal audits, engage with auditors, support audit requests, and implement control enhancements.
  • Provide HR support to the Executive Director and management, covering areas such as employee relations, performance management, talent and reward management, and manpower planning.
  • Supervise the IT vendor in managing the organization's IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, and networks.
  • Oversee administrative tasks, collaborating with various departments on facilities management, office operations, front desk, office supplies, petty cash handling, and vendor relationships.
