PURPOSE
The team member will play a crucial role in the AP Section within Finance, reporting directly to the Assistant Manager. They will manage AP transactions for all divisions in a centralized capacity.
ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Monthly account settlement, specifically dealing with double entries in freight transactions
- Ongoing monitoring of account outstanding items, ensuring prompt follow-up on dispute items
- Monthly reconciliation of Statement of Account (AP segment)
- Verification and review of invoices submitted through the Procurement system, with a focus on Tenderboard processes
- Preparation of essential documents for expense recovery and reimbursement
- Completion of ad-hoc tasks delegated by the Manager
REQUIREMENT
- Holder of a Diploma/Degree in Accountancy
- Possess technical skills and prior practical experience
- Minimum of 2 years of hands-on accounting experience in AP, specifically with double entries
- Preference for experience in Shared Services, Freight Forwarding, and Logistics companies
- Proficiency in IT, particularly in Microsoft Office (Excel and Word) and SAP accounting system
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Independent, detail-oriented, and a strong team player
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, work well under pressure, and adhere to tight reporting deadlines
