The Regional Compliance Program Director ("PMO") is a core member of the MedTech Health Care Compliance (HCC) Regional Leadership team & the MedTech Global HCC Program Management, reporting directly to the APAC Regional Sector Lead.

The PMO plays a vital role in implementing and executing various sector specific projects, consistent with the HCC program, business needs and standards in APAC, delivering business process improvement in the region, improving efficiency and effectiveness of the HCC programs, whilst supporting successful change management implementation.

Collaborating closely with global and regional PMOs, as well as country HCC officers and function compliance teams, the PMO will engage by identifying new focus areas to mitigate HCC risk and align with priority business areas, thereby contributing to the implementation of the APAC and global PMO strategy.

  • Experience in leading projects in one or more compliance areas e.g., HCC, FCPA, Finance, Quality, Regulatory.
  • Ability to successfully manage multiple, critical projects simultaneously.
  • Proficient in influencing, negotiating, and communicating with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Highly selfmotivated, selfstarter, with strong agility and resilience.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Collaboration with country HCC officers & teams, across the clusters in MedTech APAC, to scope, design, initiate and implement PMO projects.
  • Leads and executes PMO APAC projects for the Operating Companies ("OpCo"). Assists the Regional Sector Lead with the development of an effective project portfolio management structure, promoting necessary changes, process harmonization and leveraging experiences and approaches to/from other regions.
  • In partnership with the HCC Program Management at a Global Level, coordinates with functional partners to capture OpCo user requirements, identifies gaps, defines required change actions and communicates findings and recommendations to key stakeholders, including HCC local teams and Regional Sector Leads.
  • Shares best practice within HCC to develop and implement consistent controls across the region, where necessary.
  • Supports the development of harmonized standard processes applicable for all countries in APAC, where necessary.
  • Represents APAC PMO on project teams to harmonize, standardize and streamline HCC processes and systems.
  • Seeks opportunities for new solutions through innovative approaches, identified through internal and external network.
  • Other stretched responsibilities & tasks as assigned by Regional Sector Lead.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree is preferred.
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in the pharmaceutical and/or medical device industries; Supervisory experience preferred.
  • Crossfunctional and/or crosssector experience preferred.
  • Health Care Compliance experience as an advantage.
  • Experience leading in a multinational environment.
  • Experience in process improvement methodologies and process mapping preferred.
  • Green Belt certification and Project Management Skills is a plus.
  • Knowledge of the FCPA and related anticorruption regulations.
