About the job:


As a Supply Chain Consultant, you'll be expected to be involved in managing and monitoring the order management process from start to finish, using the SAP system.


  • Manage and monitor the order management process from order entry in SAP system to billing according to established procedure.
  • Issue purchase orders to vendors and perform goods receipt throughout billing in SAP.
  • Proactively work with the supply plant and forwarder to ensure shipment to the customer is done within the agreed timeline.
  • Review and check if letters of credit (L/C) are issued in accordance with purchase orders and company standards and prepare banking documents as per L/C requirements.
  • Work with 3rd Party Logistics to optimize the delivery of available goods.
  • Coordinate with the Commercial / Planning team for inventory allocation.
  • Manage customer requirements and expectations, taking a balanced view between customercentric and operations efficiency and company interests.
  • Monitor customer backorders and provide updates as available.
  • Maintain and update order status in the country report.
  • Provide reporting data as required in relation to customer orders.
  • Keep a record of shipping documentation as required by local government and for audit purposes.
  • Maintain full compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Ensure all business processes are executed in line with company controllership policies and direction.
  • Assist with customer master data maintenance.
  • Perform adhoc tasks as required by management.

About you:

  • Degree holder in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related areas.
  • Minimum 4 years of working experience in logistics and customer service in a multinational company.
  • Good understanding of OrdertoCash Process & Direct / Drop shipment model.
  • Good knowledge of various Incoterm & export documentation.
  • Can work under pressure, prioritize tasks and a good team player.
  • Problemsolving and analytical skills.
  • Handson experience in SAP is a must; and proficiency in MSoffice
  • Excel, Word & PowerPoint.
  • Hold a strong sense of responsibility, detailmindedness, and customer service focus.
  • Proactive and with a drive for continuous process improvement.
  • Good command to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
