You will support the functions of the Clinical Governance & Quality (CGQ) primarily in the area of quality assurance programmes, hospital policies and processes and secretariat support for committees.

In carrying out the various duties, you will be required to work very closely with the senior management, clinical chiefs and doctors, patient care staff and other CGQ staff members.


Responsibilities:

  • Provide secretariat support to meetings and committees (e.g. Clinical Quality and Patient Safety) and the scope of work includes writing meeting minutes, drafting meeting slides and coordinating/following up with departments on all matters arising, etc.
  • Provide secretariat oversight of the Peer Review Learning (PRL)'s activities of IMH specialists
  • Oversee/support all IT related activities within the department
  • Support the department in work relating to hospital accreditation / audits
  • Undertake any special projects or initiatives as assigned by the supervisor and/or Head of Department.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Strong critical/analytical thinking and problem solving skills, and resilience to perform well under pressure.
  • Able to write clearly and succinctly using English.
  • Able to use Excel to create databases, pivot tables and charts
  • Meticulous with a keen eye for details with strong ability to follow up on issues/implementation plans.
  • Good interpersonal skills, a team player, and able to communicate with people at all levels including the senior management.
