As part of theUniversity's Student Talent Attraction and Development (STAND)Committee, the Manager will work closely with the Deputy AssociateProvost (Strategy) and Deputy Associate Provost (Student Life) tospearhead various talent attraction and development initiatives forundergraduate students.

You will play a key rolein supporting the STAND Committee to develop strategy andcollaborate with internal and external stakeholders to implementinitiatives for undergraduate students to lead talent-relatedprojects, develop leadership skills, and explore intellectualboundaries through interdisciplinary collaborations with fellowstudents andscholars.

Responsibilities:

StudentTalent Development Programmes:
  • Developand implement operational strategies for the management of talentdevelopment programmes aimed at developing UG student talentswithin NTU.
  • Work with colleges, schools,offices and vendors to design and deliver training sessions andworkshops, mentoring initiatives to enhance talent skills, anddevelop strategies to attract students into theprogramme.
  • Monitor the effectiveness of talentdevelopment programmes and make adjustments asneeded.
  • Budgeting and expendituretracking.


NTU TalentScholarship Application:
  • Collaboratewith colleges, schools and various offices to develop marketing andpromotional strategy and materials.
  • Managescholarship initiatives, including the application process,selection criteria, and identifying/inviting panellists of domainexperts and interviews.
  • Establish ongoingrelationships with domain experts/interview panellists andscholarship recipients, providing support during applicationprocess and throughout the recipient's educationaljourneys.
  • Maintain accurate records ofscholarship recipients, and programimpact.


StakeholderEngagement:
  • Cultivate and maintainstrong relationships with internal stakeholders, including seniormanagement, colleges, schools and department heads, to ensurealignment of initiatives with organizationalgoals.
  • Collaborate with external partners, suchas educational institutions, industry experts, and sponsors, toleverage their expertise and support forinitiatives.


Requirements:
  • Bachelor'sor Masters degree in a relevant field (e.g., BusinessAdministration, Education, EventManagement).
  • Minimum of 8 years of provenexperience managing initiatives such as leadership programs,scholarships or symposiums.
  • Possess strongproject management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks,meet deadlines, and manage multiple projectssimultaneously.
  • Excellent communication skills,both verbal and written, with the ability to interact withstakeholders at all levels.
  • Exceptionalorganizational and attention-to-detail abilities, ensuringhigh-quality execution ofinitiatives.
  • Proficiency in using projectmanagement tools and software.
  • Demonstratedability to work independently, as well as in cross-functionalteams.
  • A passion for education, student talentattraction and development, and fostering growthopportunities.
