Executive Secretary (Chinese-English-French Translator)

  • Role involves occasional short business trips (3–5 days each, a few times a year) to assist the chairman, primarily for translation purposes.

About the Role:

We are looking for a highly organised and multilingual Executive Secretary to support senior management. The ideal candidate must be proficient in English, Chinese, and French, and have strong administrative and coordination skills. You will play a key role in facilitating high-level business communications, managing schedules, and supporting strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the Director and Chairman to provide executive support, manage schedules, and coordinate business activities.
  • Facilitate high-level communication by translating and interpreting English, Chinese, and French for internal and external meetings.
  • Prepare, review, and edit business reports, presentations, and correspondence.
  • Assist in strategic planning, decision-making, and project coordination.
  • Liaise with different departments and international partners to ensure smooth business operations.
  • Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.

Requirements:

Education & Language Skills:

  • Diploma or higher, preferably in French or other related business fields.
  • Fluency in English and Chinese (spoken and written) is required.
  • Proficiency in French (B1/B2 level, preferably C1/C2).

Experience & Skills:

  • Previous experience in executive assistance, business administration, or international work environments.
  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with senior executives and global partners.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other relevant office tools.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating in a team environment.
