Role Summary:
The Assistant Marketing Manager will drive trade marketing initiatives, including promoter management, POSM coordination, trade displays, and market research. The ideal candidate is analytical, creative, and resourceful, with the ability to thrive under tight deadlines.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive trade marketing strategies to drive brand visibility and sales growth.
  • Optimize product visibility in retail stores through strategic shelf positioning, signage, and in-store promotions.
  • Analyze sell-out reports and market data to identify sales trends, consumer behavior, and opportunities for growth.
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute B2B and B2C events, including trade shows, product launches, and promotional campaigns.
  • Manage the end-to-end production and distribution of POSM (Point of Sale Materials) to ensure timely and effective deployment.
  • Collaborate with distributors, retailers, and internal teams to design and execute trade promotions aligned with marketing objectives.
  • Conduct regular market visits to monitor competitor activities, pricing strategies, and retail execution.
  • Oversee the development and execution of digital marketing campaigns, including social media, email marketing, and paid advertising, to support trade activities and drive online engagement.
  • Monitor and analyze the performance of digital marketing campaigns
  • Manage and grow the brand’s online presence across social media platforms, ensuring consistent messaging and brand identity.
  • Monitor and manage trade marketing budgets, ensuring cost-effective allocation of resources.
  • Work closely with the sales team to align trade marketing strategies with sales targets and objectives.
  • Prepare and present detailed reports on trade marketing activities, performance metrics, and ROI to senior management.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, consumer insights, and emerging technologies to innovate and improve marketing strategies.
  • Support the development of new product launches by creating go-to-market strategies and promotional plans.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 5+ years of trade marketing experience in the consumer products industry.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret market trends, sales data, and consumer insights.
  • Creative thinker with a proven ability to develop innovative marketing strategies.
  • Team-oriented, with excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills.
  • Proven ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet tight deadlines.
  • Knowledge of strategic planning, marketing best practices, and digital marketing tools.
  • Experience in managing digital marketing campaigns and digital analytics tool
  • Excellent stress management, time management, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and data analysis tools.
