Responsibilities:


  • Collect vessel details and pricing information for marine dredging and construction projects.
  • Manage the entire sales cycle independently, from lead generation and quotations to payment collection.
  • Promote and offer safety services to clients.
  • Prepare accurate and competitive quotes based on thorough market research.
  • Negotiate terms with clients, ensuring contracts align with company and client needs while adhering to updated marine laws and regulations.
  • Ensure all vessel details, quotes, and sales data are accurately recorded and digitized, maintaining detailed databases.
  • Oversee the post-sales process, including client follow-ups, support, and payment collection.


Requirements:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Marine Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Additional certifications in marine operations or sales management are advantageous.
  • At least 5 years of sales experience in marine dredging, construction, or related industries.
  • Proven experience managing the full sales cycle, from lead generation to closing deals and post-sales management.
  • Experience in sourcing vessel details and cost estimation within the marine sector.
  • Ability to travel for client meetings or industry events; owning transportation is a plus.
  • A strong network of contacts in the marine industry is highly beneficial.
  • Excellent negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-driven with the ability to independently manage projects.
