Assistant Accounts Manager

- Maintain a complete set of books, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
- Prepare comprehensive quarterly financial statements, balance sheets, and profit & loss statements, corporate tax reports.
- Conduct regular financial analysis and generate reports to support business decisions.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
- Liaise with external auditors and manage the annual audit process to ensure compliance.
- Liaise with bankers and oversee head office reporting requirements.
- Lead and mentor the accounting team.
- Oversee and manage GST reporting to ensure timely and accurate submissions.
- Ensure compliance with corporate and personal tax regulations, timely preparation and submission of tax returns and liaise with tax authorities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or in a related field.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in accounting.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and tax regulations.
- Proven ability to maintain a full set of books.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills to work independently.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders, both written and verbal.
- Experience in HR and administrative work is an added advantage.
