NIE invitessuitable applications for the position of Executive,Outreach, Publicity and Planning in the Office ofGraduate Studies & Professional Learning (GPL). This is a2-year contractposition.

Responsibilities:
  • Supportthe preparatory work to curate content for local and overseaspublications, advertorials, social media platforms,etc.
  • Content creation (visuals and videos) fordigital marketing, publicity materials and collaterals forGPL.
  • Assist in the coordination and planning oflocal and overseas outreach events andactivities.
  • Support the maintenance of NIEGPL's marketing content calendar, including organic and paidcampaigns.
  • Maintain NIE GPL's mailinglists.
  • Collect data forreports.
  • Support the administrative functionswithin the team to ensure that marketing activities meet the goalsand objectives of GPL's overarching marketingstrategy.
  • Work closely with key appointmentholders and administrative colleagues in GPL to fulfill jobrequirements.
  • Other duties and projects, asassigned by the ReportingOfficer.


Requirements:
  • APolytechnic Diploma.
  • At least 2-3 years ofrelevant working experience in marketing, branding, advertising,etc.
  • Able to create marketing materialsincluding, but not limited to, print advertisements, digitalarticles, social media artwork, shortform videos and video clips,etc.
  • Familiarity with Search Engine Marketingwill be an added advantage.
  • Basic knowledge ofmarkup languages, e.g., HTML.
  • Proficient inMicrosoft Office applications.
  • Knowledge indesign and video editing software, such as Adobe Premiere Pro,Photoshop and Illustrator, etc.
  • Strongadministrative and project management skills, with the ability towork under tight timelines and follow up on workpromptly.
  • Strong interpersonal skills,including demonstrated experience in teamwork and cross-functionalcollaboration.
  • Good spoken and written Englishcommunication skills.
  • Meticulous with an eyefor detail.
  • May be required to travel and/orwork onweekends.
