The Country HR Director will play a pivotal role in leading their HR operations in Singapore, ensuring the alignment of HR strategies with business goals, and supporting the overall development of their workforce. Country HR Director - Singapore

Key Responsibilities

Human Resources Leadership

Drive the full spectrum of HR functions, including:

  • Recruitment & Talent Acquisition: Build and execute strategies to attract, hire, and retain top talent.
  • Learning & Development: Develop and implement training programs to upskill employees and support career growth.
  • Compensation & Benefits: Oversee competitive salary structures and benefits packages to attract and retain talent.
  • Employee Engagement: Foster a culture of inclusivity, collaboration and high performance through engagement initiatives.
  • Performance Management: Develop and manage robust systems to evaluate, reward and improve employee performance.
  • HR Policy Management: Create, review, and enforce policies that align with the organization’s goals and legal requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with Singapore’s employment laws and regulations.

Employee Relations and Organizational Development

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to the leadership team on employee relations, organizational design, and workforce planning.
  • Drive employee engagement surveys and implement action plans based on insights.
  • Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives to cultivate a positive and collaborative work environment.

Administrative Management

  • Lead the administration team to ensure seamless office operations and resource management.
  • Optimize administrative policies and procedures to enhance organizational efficiency.

Safety and Security

  • Develop and implement workplace safety policies and procedures to ensure a secure environment for employees and customers.
  • Oversee security protocols to protect company assets and personnel.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and drive initiatives to improve workplace safety standards.

Leadership and Team Development

  • Mentor and develop the HR, admin and safety teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.
  • Lead organizational change initiatives, ensuring smooth transitions and alignment with business objectives.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
  • At least 10 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Proven expertise in managing the full spectrum of HR functions, including recruitment, training, compensation, employee relations, and policy management.
  • Strong knowledge of Singapore’s employment laws and regulations.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing administrative, safety, and security functions is an advantage.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence and inspire at all organisational levels.
  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
