Business Development Executive

About this role:
We are looking for individuals who are passionate about building and maintaining relationships with high-net-worth individuals, families, and institutions to promote the services offered by the department. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities within the private wealth management sector.
The ideal candidate for this role should have a strong background in business development, preferably within the private wealth management sector. They should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a proven track record of building and maintaining client relationships. A deep understanding of financial products and services, as well as knowledge of the regulatory requirements in the wealth management industry, is also essential.
Responsibilities:
- Researching and identifying potential clients within the private wealth management sector;
- Developing and implementing strategic business development plans to target new clients and expand the department's client
- base;
- Building and maintaining relationships with existing clients to ensure client retention and satisfaction;
- Collaborating with internal teams to provide tailored solutions to clients; and
- Keeping abreast of industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in business, finance, marketing, or a related field.
- Experience in business development and product marketing, preferably in the wealth management industry.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, as well as language proficiency in Mandarin and English are also important for this role as this candidate will be required to converse with partners and network with Chinese speaking clients.
- To fulfil your responsibilities, you will need to obtain approval to be an appointed representative to conduct financial advisory services.
