Roles & Responsibilities

We are seeking a qualified and service-oriented individual to join our Customer Service Department. This department focuses on delivering consumer banking products and services, including savings accounts, fixed deposits, current accounts, and remittance services.


Roles & Responsibilities

The successful candidate will perform essential back-end support functions and assist with the department’s operational activities. Key responsibilities include:

KYC & Customer Documentation

  • Follow up with customers on periodic KYC review documentation.
  • Liaise with customers to resolve incomplete due diligence documentation.
  • Update and maintain customer information data in the bank’s systems.

Account Management

  • Address customer and departmental inquiries related to account opening, closure, and maintenance.
  • Support daily operations for account services, ensuring accuracy and timelu processing.

Clearing & Transactions

  • Handle outward clearing, inward/outward returned cheques, e-voucher responses, and mark cheque processes.
  • Manage inward clearing reports, CTS transaction backups, and e-Giro transactions.

Reporting & Compliance

  • Prepare and submit reports to Head Office, Management, and regulatory bodies as required.

Projects & System Enhancements

  • Contribute to department projects and participate in system enhancement initiatives to improve efficiency and service delivery.

Requirements

To be considered for this position, the candidate must have:

  • A recognized Degree from an accredited institution.
  • At least 1 year of banking experience, preferably in areas such as tellering, payments, or related functions.
  • The ability to learn quickly and work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a cheerful and service-oriented attitude.
  • A team player mindset with adaptability to changes in a dynamic work environment.

Preferred Skills

  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy in data handling and reporting.
  • Familiarity with KYC, AML (Anti-Money Laundering) procedures, and banking compliance processes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Word, Excel, and Outlook).
