About National Neuroscience Institute
The National Neuroscience Institute (NNI) is the national and regional specialist centre for conditions of the brain, spine, nerves and muscles. NNI offers treatment for over 20 subspecialties, including stroke, dementia, Parkinson’s disease, brain tumour and brain injury.
NNI operates out of 7 hospitals, namely Tan Tock Seng Hospital (TTSH), Singapore General Hospital (SGH), Changi General Hospital (CGH), KK Women's and Children's Hospital (KKH), Khoo Teck Puat Hospital (KTPH), Sengkang General Hospital (SKH) and Woodlands Health (WH)
NNI is a member of the SingHealth Duke-NUS Academic Medical Centre.
About Office of Academic Affairs (OAA)
With a common purpose to put ‘Patients at the heart of all we do’, NNI is committed to advance Academic Medicine (AM). AM gives clinicians and faculty the ability to think, study, research, discover, innovate, evaluate, teach, learn and improve. By incorporating and emphasizing medical education and research into clinical work, clinicians develop a spirit of continuous question-asking, reviewing data and constant innovating. Through AM, clinicians and faculty drive the future of medical practice with world-class research and clinical trials, leading to the highest level of clinical care, backed by evidence-based practice. OAA is thus created to provide the support needed to create the AM culture in NNI and groom future Neuroscience experts and leaders.
About the role
This is a newly created role, reflecting the transformative changes happening at both Neuroscience field and the broader Healthcare landscape in Singapore and globally.
This new addition is envisioned to be supporting the following duties:
Project Management
Lead end-to-end project management of strategic projects - to ensure projects are completed on time, according to budget and within scope. This includes, but not limited to:
- Project design optimization
- Stakeholders management
- Progress tracking
- Project risk management
Project Portfolio Management
Drive the setting up of Project Management Office (PMO) to define and maintain the standards of project management in NNI. This includes, but not limited to:
- Portfolio management
- Resource management
- Building Project Management capabilities
- Identifying and closing capability gaps
- Identifying appropriate tools
- Consolidating best practices

Skills required
- Recognized education qualification with relevant working experience in project management
- Expertise in project management tools e.g. Gantt charts, project tracking tools
- Comfortable with technology; Proficient in relevant digital tools such as Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Suite, Tableau and Smartsheet highly preferred.
- Experience &/ certification in any of the following areas highly desirable: project management, change management, strategic planning, data analysis and visualisation
