Client Details

Our client, a US listed firm, is a leading solutions provider to the QSR industry. The current financial year has seen a record growth in APAC including Southeast Asia. Due to increased demand from their customer base, they foresee consistent, strategic investment in the following year. In line with their growth ambitions, they are looking for a strategic business developer and leader to step into this Regional Commercial Leader, SEA - QSR role.

Description

The Regional Commercial Leader, SEA - QSR is responsible for driving direct and channel sales of existing and new solutions, mostly around sanitization and cleaning chemicals, into the customer base. Besides, this role will be responsible for leading twelve headcounts, who cover field sales, field service and technical support.

Reporting to the Vice President of QSR, Greater China and SEA, this role is responsible for:
Design the strategic priorities in SEA and leading implementation Growing the circa $11m USD business into a $20m business Traveling in the region to understand customer pain points and being the voice of customer to the board and making relevant product recommendations Meeting distributors in the region and driving any changes necessary to such relationships, including performance metrics Driving initiatives in key markets like Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia and growing them to a position to appoint country sales leaders and operate autonomously Having a strong understanding of competitors in the industry and building a competitive edge Driving a good team culture with the existing and future team members Hiring new team members as the business expands in SEA Profile Degree in mechanical, industrial engineering or a related discipline Ten or more years or more in a strategic business development role or General Management role in SEA, but experience of working outside of SEA too so you can implement best practices from mature markets like GCR and ANZ Prior experience in selling chemicals or equipment to the QSR sector or a passion for the industry, as this is a technical, high value sales environment Knowledge and expertise in managing regional sales teams Experience in driving double digital growth for a B2B sales business The role requires frequent overseas travel Job Offer

The remuneration for this role and benefits, bonuses will be in line with the market and linked to the top line growth and retention in the team. You will have great autonomy to make decisions for SEA and in fact, we are looking for someone who can study the market, make recommendations to the VP and above, and execute.
