This role supports Wholesale Onboarding across Asia Pacific (Hong Kong, China, Singapore, Japan, Australia and India) and focuses on delivering a best-in-class onboarding service to front office partners and clients. Overview Embark on an exciting opportunity as a member of the Onboarding Relationship Management team, providing support to bring clients from trading entities on board in an efficient, reliable and controlled manner, minimizing impacts to clients and ensuring a Best-In-Class Onboarding service. The team handles all onboarding activity on behalf of Barclays Corporate and Investment Banking in APAC. Responsibilities Collaborate with Front Office, KYC, Product, Credit, Legal and Account Setup Teams to ensure efficient and timely onboarding. Support day-to-day Wholesale Onboarding initiatives, including KYC processing, reviewing (quality checks), reporting, trading, and issue resolution. Engage with clients/front office to gather Customer Due Diligence information/evidence in line with policy. Coordinate with bank-wide teams to align and integrate Wholesale Onboarding processes. Identify areas for improvement and provide recommendations to enhance onboarding processes. Develop and implement onboarding procedures and controls to mitigate risk and maintain operational efficiency. Develop reports and presentations on onboarding performance for internal senior stakeholders. Stay informed on industry trends to implement best practices in onboarding. Participate in projects to improve onboarding efficiency and effectiveness. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree or four years’ equivalent experience in Onboarding, KYC, or regulatory areas. Experience in financial services or client-facing roles; strong stakeholder management, written and verbal communication skills. Ability to multi-task, manage high volumes, and prioritize effectively. Proactive, energetic attitude with ability to work independently and collaboratively in a global team. Willingness to work under tight deadlines and adapt to changing priorities. Desirable Skills/Preferred Qualification Deeper knowledge in AML/KYC, Product, Regulatory, Credit, Legal, Ops and Tech infrastructure; ability to challenge inefficiencies and promote improvements. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail; proficient Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Excel). Legal and Employment Details Barclays requires the Legal Right to Work in the role.
