Overview

Purpose of this role: Strengthen the firm’s compliance function by ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements set by the Monetary Authority of Singapore. This role supports the implementation and maintenance of robust compliance frameworks, conducts routine monitoring and reviews, and assists in regulatory reporting and audits.

Responsibilities
  • Understanding of SFA/FAA and Klay Capital's licensed activities.
  • Assist the Head of Compliance/MLRO in effective implementation of Compliance and AML procedures, systems and controls, including the review and update of policies and procedures (including the Compliance Manual).
  • Supports the Head of Compliance/MLRO in keeping Board of Directors and Senior Management up-to-date on changes in relevant regulations. Perform gap analysis under guidance of Head of Compliance/MLRO.
  • Review onboarding of business partners and third parties service providers.
  • Prepare submission of all MAS, Regulatory reports and any ad-hoc notifications/requests.
  • Assist in testing the controls and processes as required in the Compliance Monitoring Program for the different areas of the business and preparing reports on any findings.
  • Carry out periodic Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing of IT systems and controls.
  • Review, update and test BCM/BCP procedure, Incident Response Plan and Cyber Security procedure.
  • Liaise with Company Secretarial on submission to ACRA, maintain and update the register of directors, secretary, and shareholders and any ad-hoc secretarial matters.
  • Approve and maintain Breach, Gifts, Complaints, Training, MAS communications, New staff fit and proper declaration, staff outside directorship and personal account dealing / transactions registers.
  • Approve investment marketing materials for client presentation in accordance to MAS requirements.
  • Assist with internal, external, regulatory audits and inspections.
Qualifications
  • Bachelors’s degree in any discipline
Skills/knowledge
  • Experience In a MAS' regulated financial Institutions.
  • Understanding of SFA/FAA and Klay Capital's licensed activities will be a plus.
  • Knowledge In Variable capital company structure and/or Fatca/CRS requirements would be advantageous will be a plus.

  • Minimum 2-3 years relevant experience in KYC/AML
