We operate with empathy, celebrate individuality, encourage effective collaboration, and believe great work comes from trust, not titles The role As we enter our next phase of growth and profitability, we are looking for a System Administrator to maintain, upgrade and manage our software, hardware and networks. Resourcefulness is a necessary skill in this role. You should be able to diagnose and resolve problems quickly. You should also have the patience to communicate with a variety of interdisciplinary teams and users. Your goal will be to ensure that our technology infrastructure runs smoothly and efficiently. Key responsibilities Deploy, configure, and maintain software and hardware across corporate and retail locations Manage network servers, cloud systems, and technology tools to ensure stability and security Oversee setup and lifecycle of user accounts, workstations, and access controls Support and manage the POS (Point-of-Sale) system, including configuration, maintenance, and version upgrades Collaborate with the Retail Operations team to identify pain points and enhancement opportunities in store systems Coordinate with POS vendors for troubleshooting, maintenance, and improvement projects Lead and manage POS-related IT projects, including system rollouts, integrations, and testing Monitor performance, troubleshoot system issues, and respond promptly to outages or incidents Ensure security through device policies, firewalls, and backup strategies Maintain accurate records of IT and retail assets via asset management tools Develop and maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and IT policies Continuously explore automation opportunities and process improvements to optimize IT operations What we are looking for A proactive problem solver who thrives in fast-paced, dynamic environments A team player who can bridge the gap between technical and business teams Someone who takes full ownership and delivers reliable, secure systems that scale with growth A hands-on individual who enjoys both day-to-day IT operations and long-term system improvements What does success look like Reliable and stable IT systems across all stores and offices Reduced downtime and faster resolution for POS and IT incidents Streamlined collaboration with Retail Ops and vendors, resulting in improved store experience Clear documentation, asset visibility, and proactive infrastructure improvements A culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence within the IT ecosystem Requirements You should have/be Proven experience as a System Administrator, Network Administrator, or similar role Strong knowledge of IT asset management, MDM, Active Directory, and network security Hands‑on experience with POS systems (preferably retail environments) and vendor coordination Understanding of ERP software and system integrations Strong grasp of system security (e.g., intrusion detection, endpoint protection, backup/recovery) Familiarity with scripting and automation (PowerShell, Python, or similar) Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder management skills Resourcefulness, ownership, and problem‑solving aptitude Interest in staying current with emerging technologies Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline; professional certifications (e.g., Google Workspace Admin, Microsoft 365, or CompTIA Security+) are a plus Experience managing retail store IT infrastructure (POS, network, peripherals) is a strong advantage Understanding of inventory or asset management tools is a plus Benefits Flexible Work Arrangement - Flexible, hybrid, and adjustable hours - as long as present during our core working hours Staff Wellness - Comprehensive corporate insurance (Fully covered visits at our panel clinics, dental coverage, maternity reimbursement) Learning and Career Development - Learning and development (i.e. subscription plans to best-in-class resources, personal development fund etc), Dedicated leadership training for those of managerial responsibilities, Friday pm off for learning #TeamLB perks - Generous staff discount off LB products, Corporate partnerships with a variety of companies, Welcome to #TeamLB swag and store gift cards (get your LB work outfit on us), Employee driven peer‑to‑peer recognition platform to honour and celebrate everyday achievements #J-18808-Ljbffr
