Job InformationThe Account Director is based in Singapore, is a senior experienced professional in integrated marketing communications, creative, media, or digital agencies, with a focus on the Asia-Pacific region. This role involves managing client projects from start to finish, fostering client relationships, and identifying new business opportunities. The ideal candidate will have direct experience in the healthcare or pharmaceutical industry, particularly within a regulated environment. Key responsibilities include client communication, strategic leadership in pitches, managing budgets, and coaching internal teams. Proficiency in digital marketing and a high service orientation are essential, along with the ability to work autonomously and report directly to the Managing Director. Legal authorization to work in Singapore is required.

OverviewPosition: Account Director
Industry: marketing services, advertising agency, digital healthcare
Work Arrangement: Hybrid
Level of management: Senior, Experienced, Managerial
Client/Account Management:- Serve as the agency lead for multiple clients, managing healthcare-related creative/digital campaigns from conception to completion.
- Provide regular updates to clients on project progress while ensuring open and effective communication at all times.
- Build and nurture long-term client relationships, demonstrating a high level of service orientation.
- Actively identify new business opportunities , cross-sell products and services, and support revenue growth for both clients and the agency.
- Ensure project timelines are met and manage concurrent projects within the healthcare and pharmaceutical sectors.
- Represent the agency at healthcare networking events and industry forums.
- Work autonomously and proactively with a focus on agency-client collaboration , reporting to the Managing Director.
- Play an active role in agency pitches and RFPs , delivering strategic insights that align with client expectations.
- Translate client briefs into actionable plans for internal teams (creative, project management) within the agency.
- Collaborate with agency creative leaders to ensure high-quality deliverables that meet client standards and expectations.
- Monitor KPIs related to client accounts, including opportunity pipelines, invoicing, and revenue growth .
- Manage project budgets and margins, ensuring that financial targets are met.
- Oversee project timelines and ensure alignment with agency goals.
General requirements – Background:
- Education : Bachelor’s degree in healthcare or pharmaceutical-related fields, medical marketing or related disciplines; Advanced degrees are highly desirable.
- Experience : Minimum of 5-7 years of agency experience , particularly within integrated marketing communications (IMC), creative, media, or digital agencies .
- Work Authorization : Must be authorized to work in Singapore.
Experience:
- Healthcare Industry : Experience managing healthcare or pharmaceutical accounts, especially in regulated environments.
- Agency Experience : Proven track record of managing client accounts within an agency , including handling multi-channel engagement strategies.
Required Skills:
- Digital Proficiency : Strong understanding of digital marketing regulations in the healthcare industry.
- Scientific Knowledge : Familiarity with scientific journals or healthcare content is a plus.
- Client Relationship Management : Ability to build and maintain long-term partnerships within an agency setting.
- Problem-Solving : Proven ability to adapt, solve problems, and offer strategic recommendations to clients.
