Within this context and given our fast growing business in Asia, we are looking for a Head of EAM Asia to be based in Singapore:

YOUR ROLE

We are seeking a senior professional to lead and grow Lombard Odier External Asset Management franchise in Asia. This role is both strategic and hands on combining team leadership, business development, and client coverage. The mandate is to lead the External Asset Manager (EAM) Singapore Desk and expand our EAM presence in Asia, strengthen partnerships and deliver consistent sustainable growth while ensuring operational excellence .

This is a great opportunity to shape and expand Lombard Odier’s EAM business in Asia, with both strategic responsibility and commercial impact.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership

• Execute direct responsibility in Management of EAM Team : Manage, coach and motivate staff in the local EAM Desk and ensure excellence of service provided by the desk to its clients.
• Ensure strong collaboration across functions, compliance, credit, trading, onboarding, operations.
• Uphold regulatory standards, risk management and operational discipline.
• Represent the team locally and internationally liaising with senior management and global EAM desks.

Client Coverage

• Act as the primary point of contact for selected EAM relationships.
• Manage your own client book : answering EAM inquiries, trading, administrative tasks.
• Work closely with internal specialists to deliver seamless and differentiated client experiences.

Business growth

• Expand Lombard Odier’s EAM business in Asia by deepening relationships with existing managers and selectively onboarding new high quality partners.
• Strengthen Lombard Odier visibility and reputation in the EAM community through relationship-building, thought leadership and presence in key industry events
• Leverage Lombard Odier’s full suite of capabilities - access to financial publication and Investment solution specialists, structural solutions, credit, private assets and sustainability expertise - to create value for external managers and their clients

YOUR PROFILE

• Strong understanding of the EAM landscape in Asia including key players, client needs and competitive positioning.
• Capacity to build and deepen long term partnerships with EAM leveraging both personal and institutional relationships.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements, onboarding process and operational frameworks in regional markets.
• University education with minimum 10 years’ experience in similar function in a EAM environment.
• Able to work across cultures and regions; fluent in English (additional Asian languages a plus)
• Comfortable in a leadership role with a hands-on, proactive approach.
