Manages the ITB Export Finance and Solutions ("EFS") teams in Asia Pacific, in coordination with the ITB Country Heads.

Defines the business and origination strategy of EFS in APAC in collaboration with the ITB APAC Head, SCOs, Coverage, ITB Heads, and ITB Business Lines Regional Heads.

Ensures strategic and execution alignment with ITB Strategy through close coordination with the ITB Global Head, SRO, and respective ITB Business/Product Lines’ Global Heads.

Member of the ITB Asia-Pacific Executive Committee.

Develops Export Finance activities in Singapore and other Asian countries where EFS presence is absent. This involves internal and external marketing, origination, and acting as Deal Leader/Transaction Manager for Export Finance transactions when needed.

Supports and manages other teams in developing EFS activities across the Asia-Pacific region.

Contributes to increasing EFS revenues and profitability in line with the Business Line’s strategy and the Bank’s risk policy, including structuring and executing EFS transactions and preparing marketing documents.

Main Responsibilities
  • Manages the ITB Export Finance and Solutions ("EFS") teams in Asia Pacific, coordinating with the ITB Country Heads.
  • Supports structuring and executing inbound and outbound transactions, ensuring proper implementation with relevant team members and internal parties.
  • Markets to multinational corporations based in Singapore to generate EFS opportunities in Asia-Pacific, collaborating with export desks and local business lines.
  • Maintains contact with regional banks to gather market intelligence and develop partnerships for transactions and joint opportunities.
  • Leads origination efforts in Asian countries without EFS presence, reviewing country risk strategies and defining objectives with the APAC Head of ITB, ensuring proper implementation and monitoring KPIs.
Legal and Regulatory Responsibilities:
  • Ensures compliance with all legal, regulatory, and internal policies, including Singapore’s compliance manual and policies, and manages financial security, crime prevention, and reporting obligations.
  • Maintains necessary knowledge and completes mandatory training to stay qualified for the role.
