(Senior) Development Partner, IEC General Meeting (2 yr contract) Join to apply for the (Senior) Development Partner, IEC General Meeting (2 yr contract) role at Enterprise Singapore . Singapore will be hosting the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) General Meeting (GM) for the first time in 2027 – a major international event that will bring together global standardisation and conformity assessment stakeholders in the IEC community. As (Senior) Development Partner, you will support the project team in managing the operational and logistical aspects of the event, ensuring strong coordination across stakeholders and smooth execution on the ground. As part of the Standards Division, you will also have opportunities to collaborate with industry experts, government agencies, institutions of higher learning, professional bodies, industry associations and other stakeholders to identify and develop national and international standards in areas such as sustainability, digitalisation and resilience. What you will be working on Support the strategic planning, coordination and execution of a high-profile international standardisation event, involving multiple programme elements and high-level engagements. Shape the event's overarching themes and narratives aligned to national strategic interests, including innovations and areas of thought leadership relevant to standards and conformance. Collaborate with IEC and other global stakeholders to drive strategic alignment with event objectives and global trends. Engage WOG agencies and local industry stakeholders to drive coordinated national effort that will bring maximum benefit to Singapore. Liaise with appointed Professional Conference Organiser to ensure end-to-end project implementation, including procurement, vendor partnerships, programme development, event operations, budget management, sponsorship development, marketing and post-event evaluation. Assist with the development of event content, including programmes, speaking engagements, and side activities. Assist with sponsorship efforts and contribute to budget tracking and reporting. Work closely with internal teams, partner agencies, vendors and international organisations to deliver a seamless event experience for delegates. Assist with post-event reporting, knowledge transfer and review of lessons learnt. What we are looking for Strong organisational and project coordination skills, with the ability to manage details and timelines effectively. Experience in supporting large-scale event planning, inter-agency projects or international engagement would be advantageous. Good communicator and team player who is proactive and responsive to evolving needs. Comfortable working with external partners and navigating dynamic, fast-paced environments. Passionate about contributing to high-impact national and international initiatives.
