The OpportunityAs our Business Development Manager – North Asia , you'll be the face of Multipolitan in one of the world's most sophisticated wealth markets. You'll lead client acquisition and partnership strategies across Japan, South Korea, Hong Kong, and Taiwan - driving growth in a region rich with entrepreneurial energy and demand for cross-border planning.
Responsibilities- Market Ownership: Business development across North Asia with a strong focus on HNWIs, entrepreneurs, private bankers, family offices, and lawyers.
- Client Advisory: Act as a trusted advisor to families seeking international residence, citizenship, or relocation options.
- Partnership Building: Grow our referral network by engaging with private banks, multifamily offices, real estate groups, and legal firms.
- Thought Leadership: Represent Multipolitan at regional conferences, webinars, and exclusive events. Co-author insights and content in collaboration with our editorial team.
- Product Feedback: Work with our product and operations teams to localize solutions and identify user needs across the North Asia market.
- 5–8 years of experience in private client advisory, wealth management, investment migration, real estate, or related services.
- Deep networks in one or more North Asian markets (Japan, South Korea, Hong Kong, Taiwan).
- A proven track record of building relationships with HNWIs or key intermediaries.
- Fluency in English and at least one North Asian language (Mandarin, Korean, or Japanese highly preferred).
- A proactive, resourceful mindset - you thrive in ambiguity and act like an owner.
- Emotional intelligence and cultural sensitivity; you know how to build trust with discerning clients.
