Job DescriptionThe Role
We have an exciting opportunity for an accomplished HR Business Partner (HRBP) to join our dynamic, entrepreneurial, and fast-moving brokerage environment on an interim basis. Reporting to the Head of HR, you will collaborate with senior leaders to understand their objectives and challenges, delivering HR solutions aligned with business goals. This role is ideal for candidates with experience and interest in Learning & Development, Performance Management, and Employee Relations.
RequirementsKey Responsibilities
- Deliver operational and strategic HR initiatives to enhance organizational performance, identifying issues and proposing solutions.
- Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, including developing effective resourcing strategies for Asia offices, direct sourcing, and early careers programs with minimal agency reliance.
- Oversee global employee onboarding, including drafting offer letters, managing visas and contracts, conducting inductions, and handling pre-employment checks.
- Develop and manage reward and benefits programs, including pay benchmarking, compensation cycles, and benefits review, providing analytics for decision-making.
- Lead Employee Relations activities, handling disciplinary actions, grievances, absence management, and performance improvement processes, including investigations.
- Identify process improvements, leveraging HR systems to automate manual tasks.
- Project manage employee engagement initiatives, including surveys, communication, recognition, and feedback mechanisms.
- Analyze HR data to identify trends and areas for improvement, continually enhancing HR processes.
- Ensure compliance with immigration and employment laws, maintaining governance.
- Coordinate global payroll activities, ensuring data accuracy in collaboration with Finance.
- Prepare reports for management and respond to HR audit requests.
- Support or lead HR projects as needed and create reports using Excel and HRIS systems.
- Maintain procedural documentation and update absence records on HRIS.
- Act as deputy for the Head of HR and support the London HR office as required.
Risk Responsibilities
- Promote a risk-aware and compliant culture, adhering to company policies.
- Maintain awareness of and compliance with internal policies relevant to the role.
- Proven experience and success in HR Operations and HR Advisory roles.
- Strong knowledge of HR processes and best practices in Singapore.
- Understanding of local employment legislation.
- Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills, and proficiency in Excel and HRIS.
- Experience in financial or professional services is preferred.
- Client-focused, personable, and able to build strong relationships.
- Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.
- Confident in advising management and implementing HR initiatives.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Resilient and able to work under pressure.
- Team-oriented with excellent interpersonal skills.
