Career Progression Program (CCP) for Advanced Biopharmaceuticals Manufacturing Executives/Professionals

We are pleased to announce the Career Progression Program (CCP) for Advanced Biopharmaceuticals Manufacturing Executives/Professionals, a talent development initiative aimed at cultivating the next generation of skilled professionals for Singapore's biopharmaceutical manufacturing industry.

Program Overview:

  • Duration: 15 months
  • Attachment: Local attachment to Pfizer Inc.
  • Singapore Citizens or Singapore Permanent Residents
  • Have no prior working experience in the biopharmaceutical sector
  • Mid-Career Candidate: Graduated for at least 2 years prior to application

This program is designed to provide participants with the skills and experience to meet the hiring demand within the biopharmaceutical manufacturing sector.

The Tuas, Singapore active pharmaceutical ingredient (API) manufacturing site is a key part of the PGS Network, supporting Pfizer's growth and innovation strategies. Your contribution, whether managing projects or liaising with others, will help us deliver breakthroughs that change patients' lives. Why Patients Need You

Engineering plays a vital role in designing, developing, maintaining, and supporting manufacturing processes to ensure medicines are available when needed. Working with our engineering team, you'll help bring medicines to the world faster by imagining possibilities and taking action.

What You Will Achieve

You will develop and modify process formulations, methods, and controls to meet quality standards. Your engineering skills will help recommend improvements, solve problems, and optimize costs and schedules.

Your efforts will contribute to achieving project milestones and supporting global patient needs.

How You Will Achieve It

Develop manufacturing instructions and SOPs.

Maintain and troubleshoot process control systems.

Assess processes technically and evaluate improvements.

Investigate quality and safety issues during manufacturing.

Implement preventive measures and monitor process improvements.

Ensure safety and quality standards are followed.

Communicate process updates regularly.

Train technicians and engineers as needed.

Qualifications Minimum Requirements:

Degree in Engineering (preferably Chemical) or Science (Major in Chemistry)

Proactive with strong interpersonal skills

Excellent communication skills

Proficient in Microsoft Office

Effective team collaboration skills

Preferred Requirements:

Experience in manufacturing environment

Knowledge of Process Engineering, Lean, and Six Sigma

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Ability to adapt and work under pressure

Results-driven with commitment and urgency
