About the team:
Finance BP and Business FP&A is a sub-department of Finance. Finance BP-Global E-Commerce in Southeast Asia is a strategic finance function embedded within the e-commerce business units to act as a bridge between finance and operations. In addition to handling management reporting, a Finance BP works closely with business leaders to drive performance, enable decision-making, and ensure financial discipline. We are seeking an experienced Finance Business Partner Lead with a strong background in team management with the ability to support the Singapore and Indonesia markets. The ideal candidate should possess proven leadership capabilities, deep financial acumen, and a strong track record of partnering with business teams to drive performance and decision-making across multiple markets.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Work closely with the business team and strategy team, provide optimized financial solution or advice to support business requirement.
- Prepare managerial financial report and rolling forecast, track business financial performance and perform related financial analysis to ensure that the planning process provides an efficient and effective tool for Leadership team.
- Provide financial models, analysis and support for commercial strategies.
- Manage the development and execution of the financial plan for company.
- Completing cost / benefit analyses and communicating key drivers / inputs to support business decisions.
- Conduct budget control, involve in business operations and review project applications.
- Build and optimize financial processes, related systems and financial modeling to improve efficiency and control business risk.
- Perform special ad hoc projects and analyses on a frequent basis.
Minimum Qualification:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
- 8+ years of finance business partnering experience, financial planning and analysis or related analytical skills in e-commerce industry.
- Proven track record in complex financial planning and budget management including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis within international companies.
- Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis framework.
- Proficiency in Mandarin is essential to effectively engage with Chinese stakeholders based in Chinese-speaking markets and the need to review documents in Mandarin.
- Prior experience managing a team of at least 3 members is required.
Preferred Qualification:
- Excellent interpersonal skills, strong team spirit, and the ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse range of people and job functions.
- Demonstrated strong cross-cultural collaboration skills through projects involving stakeholders across Southeast Asia, Greater China, and global teams.
- Master's degree is preferred.
