Overview

The role is for a Supply Chain Manager at Amgen in Singapore, within the JAPAC region.

Responsibilities
  • Partnership across the business to achieve Singapore business objectives
  • Partner with the business to ensure commercial outcomes are supported by an effective supply strategy
  • Ensure compliant operations, with Singapore regulations and requirements incorporated into regional processes
  • Supply and Demand Planning
  • Responsible for supply security, risk assessment and mitigation planning
  • Responsible for S&OP / IBP for the full Singapore portfolio
  • Collaborate with Commercial and Finance to develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts; use Anaplan for integrated demand planning
  • Conduct supply planning in the global RapidResponse system
  • Balance enterprise requirements across the value chain to support continuous supply with optimized inventory levels and costs
  • Customer Service and Wholesaler engagement
  • Collaborate with Wholesalers to ensure replenishment aligns with the Distribution Agreement
  • Fulfilment of Wholesaler Purchase Orders, including creation of Sales Orders in SAP and liaison with GSH-JAPAC, supply site or Regional Distribution Hub
  • Launch and Lifecycle Management
  • Develop strategy and implementation plans for product launches and lifecycle changes; align supply plan with variation changes; identify, communicate and mitigate risks
  • Logistics – partner with Global Supply Hub (GSH-JAPAC) to ensure GDP compliance and trade compliance for imports and delivery to Singapore Wholesaler
  • Continuous Improvement and Digital Excellence
  • Identify Operational Excellence opportunities to drive productivity and flawless execution
  • Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures or other work instructions
  • Leverage digital tools to enhance productivity
  • KPI/Reporting
  • Ensure timely, accurate performance management with meaningful insights
  • Generate KPIs according to the Distribution Agreement with the Wholesaler and report for internal collaborators
  • Other activities as required, including leading cross-functional projects, audits, business continuity planning and financial performance
  • Travel as needed
What you will bring
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, MBA or similar
  • 5-7+ years of functional supply chain experience; preferably with major pharmaceutical companies
  • Fluent in English (speaking and writing)
