Overview
Position : Customer Service Executive (Freight forwarding /Sea freight)
Location : Tampines Industrial Crescent
Working hours : 5 working days, Monday-Friday 8:30-5:30
Salary (commensurate with experience) : Gross up $3500 + Performance Bonus
Duration : Perm
Industry : Freight Forwarding Industry
Responsibilities- Attending to customer enquiries and booking of shipments
- Arrange for space bookings and monitoring
- Liaise closely with Import/Export Department for smooth execution for all jobs
- Preparation of all pre-alerts to all respective stations prior to arrival and departure of shipping
- Checking of arriving and uplift details each morning and keep all customers informed of the information
- Check and ensure customers' special requests/handling are duly complied
- Deal with the respective parties effectively & efficiently, using diplomacy and negotiation skills
- Maintain good filing systems and proper housekeeping
- Build and improve good working relationships with internal and external customers
- At least 2 years of experience in freight forwarding (Sea freight)
- GCE ’O’ Level & above
- Independent as well as a team player with initiative, willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities
- Proficient in MS Office applications
- Ability to operate efficiently under pressure and to multi-task
