Overview

Location: Ang Mo Kio | Industry: Engineering

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for leading Line-of-Businesses (LOBs) Group, which comprises cellular, radio, satellite communication, and sensor products.
  • Technology Strategy and Leadership: Lead, develop and implement technology strategies that support the production and delivery of projects and programs.
  • Identify opportunities for innovation and improvement in existing technologies and products to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Stay up to date with emerging technologies, and regulatory requirements related to communication networks and sensors.
  • Team Leadership and Talent Management: establish partnerships with key stakeholders, external technology providers and strategic partners to maximize outcomes and minimize risks.
  • Manage R&D Budget and Resource Allocation such as staffing, hardware, software, and infrastructure investments, to achieve business objectives.
  • Serve on the Executive Management Team and R&D Strategic Committee.
Requirements
  • 8-10 years of experience in a senior technology leadership role, preferably as a CTO, Director or similar position.
  • Understanding of communication networks, sensor technologies, 5G technology, and telecommunications standards.
  • Strong strategic thinking and business acumen.
  • Excellent leadership and team-building skills.
