Overview

We seek a highly capable and experienced Head of Technical Product Management to lead our dynamic department. The Product Management function plays a vital role in transforming ideas into innovative products that address user and partner experience needs while elevating the Traveloka journey. You will oversee the development and implementation of critical technical products that enhance our platform’s capabilities and drive how users discover and fulfill their travel inspiration and needs.

Responsibilities
  • Define and drive the overall technical product vision and strategy across multiple product lines at the departmental level
  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of Technical Product Managers and senior leaders, fostering their growth and development
  • Oversee the end-to-end technical product development lifecycle, from ideation to launch and post-launch optimization
  • Partner closely with engineering leadership to define technical requirements and ensure successful, timely product delivery
  • Guide market research and competitive analysis to identify high-impact opportunities for innovation and differentiation
  • Develop and maintain long-term product roadmaps, balancing strategic business goals with technical feasibility
  • Work cross-functionally with UX/UI leaders, data science, and business stakeholders to shape cohesive product strategies
  • Oversee feature prioritization and resource allocation based on strategic impact and technical constraints
  • Define and track departmental key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success and impact
  • Stay ahead of emerging travel industry trends and new technologies, ensuring the department remains a driver of innovation
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field from a reputable university
  • 12+ years of progressive experience in product management within the travel or e-commerce industry, with strong technical exposure
  • 5+ years of proven leadership experience managing senior product managers or heading product teams
  • Strong expertise in software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum)
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically while guiding large-scale product portfolios
  • Proven track record of delivering successful, high-impact products across markets
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills with experience driving data-informed strategies
  • Excellent communication, executive presence, and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience with AI/ML technologies and their applications in travel is a plus
