What we are looking for

We are seeking a Head of Product to lead the direction, strategy, and execution of our all-in-one HR platform. This role is critical as we scale across Asia and expand our offerings to diverse customer personas—from SMEs seeking compliance and payroll accuracy, to modern teams demanding integrations and automation, to global clients using our managed payroll solution.

The ideal candidate is a hybrid product leader: strategic enough to define and communicate clear priorities, but hands-on enough to work directly with engineers and customers when needed. You will partner closely with the founders, engineering, sales, and customer success to ensure we’re building the right things, at the right time, with our limited but growing resources.

What you’ll do

  • Define and own Omni’s product strategy and roadmap, balancing multiple customer personas and market needs.
  • Prioritize ruthlessly: decide where we go deep vs. where we go broad but “good enough”.
  • Lead the product operating cadence—roadmap planning, discovery, backlog grooming, and release management.
  • Build structured processes for collecting, evaluating, and acting on customer feedback, statutory requirements, and market trends.
  • Partner with GTM teams to ensure product direction supports sales strategies, packaging, and positioning.
  • Act as the connective tissue between business and engineering—translating business goals into clear product requirements while protecting engineering focus.
  • Get hands-on when necessary: write PRDs for critical modules, support customer calls for discovery, or help engineering clarify edge cases.
  • Grow and mentor the product function over time, establishing best practices and frameworks.
  • Track and report on product success metrics to guide decisions and demonstrate impact.

What you’ll need

  • 7+ years of product management experience in SaaS, with at least 2+ years in a leadership or head-of-function role.
  • Proven ability to manage portfolio complexity—balancing multiple customer segments, geographies, or product lines.
  • Strong strategic thinking, but equally comfortable being hands-on with execution in a resource-constrained environment.
  • Excellent communication skills: able to influence executives, align cross-functional stakeholders, and simplify complex trade-offs.
  • Experience working closely with engineering teams; technical familiarity with APIs, integrations, and data workflows is a plus.
  • Familiarity with HRIS, payroll, or compliance-heavy SaaS is a strong advantage.
  • A bias toward action: pragmatic, resourceful, and comfortable making tough calls with imperfect information.
