Job Description
The successful candidate will be based in Singapore, responsible for service management, vendor management, product deployment, administration, and support escalation of enterprise storage infrastructure across multiple countries. The role involves collaborating with architecture and technology teams to engineer and deliver storage solutions that support technology transformation.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational support for storage infrastructure, including service management, vendor management, lifecycle management, product deployment, administration, and support escalation for enterprise storage systems from Huawei, Hitachi, Dell EMC, NetApp, HPE, IBM, and Brocade.
• Partner with infrastructure and application teams to deliver storage solutions and projects, and drive migration to strategic storage platforms.
• Take ownership of storage-related incidents until resolution, including impact analysis, root cause analysis, and preventive measures. Ensure timely closure of problem tasks.
• Restore all service outages promptly, adhering to the Fix-Once principle.
• Lead and review storage system changes to ensure smooth execution and compliance with change management frameworks.
• Conduct performance analysis, tuning, automate system operations, and capacity planning.
• Proactively review processes, improve, automate, and harmonize them.
• Analyze operational issues deeply, identify improvements, mitigate risks, and develop control measures.
• Coordinate periodic controls and reviews, develop metrics, reports, and standards.
• Support audit and compliance activities, manage corrective actions, and contribute to risk assessments.
• Participate in morning coverage, weekend work, DR tests, bank-wide maintenance activities, and respond to ad-hoc requests, including outside office hours.

Qualifications, Skills, and Experience

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in IT, Computer Science, or Engineering.
• At least 10 years of experience in storage environments, with knowledge of service and project management.
• Extensive experience with IT infrastructure concepts and solutions.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise SAN/NAS storage technologies from Huawei, Hitachi, Dell EMC, NetApp, HPE, IBM, and Brocade.
• Experience in scripting and automation.
• Knowledge of virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V), Windows, Linux, AIX, Solaris.
• Familiarity with automation tools and scripting such as Ansible, Terraform.
• Platform performance management and capacity planning skills.
• Experience investigating and managing infrastructure incidents.
• Excellent product management skills.
• Strong understanding of cyber-security, data security, and compliance related to Storage and Backup.
