Global Head of Enablement, Transaction Banking Cash Management Join to apply for the Global Head of Enablement, Transaction Banking Cash Management role at Standard Chartered Singapore . Responsibilities Collaborate with the Global Head of Cash Management & Cash MT (including DCS) to define and execute the business strategic plan as part of the TB, CIB and Group strategy. Lead the annual strategy, Corporate Plan process and Investment Budget for the Cash business (including DCS), alongside the Cash CFO. Ensure global systems, capabilities and processes are fit for purpose and implemented to expected standards across our footprint. Deliver agreed outcomes on standard metrics/scorecards such as cost, productivity, service levels, risk and headcount. Partner with the TB MT and business leads to drive the strategic and operational agenda of the franchise. Leverage transversal capabilities through the TB COO MT to support business priorities. Collaborate with the TB COO on pan TB Cash initiatives and ensure product owners support delivery and provide domain expertise. Work with the Global Head Conduct & Control to ensure the business adheres to the conduct and control framework and risk management processes. Drive business performance by leveraging analytics and frontline enablement transversal capability. Align priorities with FSS, FM and WRB on Cash & DCS. As a Cash MT Member, set strategy, manage performance and allocate resources across Group & Cluster teams. Govern infrastructure processes and frameworks for compliance and controls, e.g. AML, sanctions risk, non-financial risk, product risk. Ensure cost discipline and optimal staffing levels to support business growth. Support Group Cash Heads in discharging IBS responsibilities and representing in risk committees. Strategy Define and implement the business strategic agenda to maximise shareholder value. Contribute to Transaction Banking strategic priorities aligned to Cash. Support development and implementation of strategic priorities for Cash business. Support the business to achieve bank's revenue targets. Enable the business to progress toward best‑in‑class Cash Management Bank by prioritising investments and improving delivery. Represent Cash interest in investment prioritisation across projects. Ensure global systems, capabilities and processes are fit for purpose. Business Provide support in all aspects of business development including execution of strategy and growth plans. Collaborate with support functions to ensure appropriate skill and capacity to deliver business priorities. Drive automation and standardisation agenda for the Operations team. Remove blockages and enable revenue growth while maintaining safety. Assist in implementation of regulatory or structural change driven projects. Own embedding and maintenance of product lifecycle development in the Cash product function. Processes Drive continuous improvement of operational efficiency, effectiveness and consistency of global processes and systems. Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement. Manage implementation of policies and control standards set by risk control owners. Ensure compliance with internal policies, external laws and regulations. Oversee governance of Cash Risk Forum. People & Talent Lead by example, build culture and values. Support the Cash Head to employ, engage and retain high‑quality people with succession planning. Review team structure and capacity plans. Set job descriptions and objectives for direct reports of the Cash Head and provide performance feedback and rewards. Support talent management, mobility, training, D&I initiatives. Risk Management Ensure TB Cash business is carried out within Group's risk appetite and manage risks effectively. Balance business performance delivery with cost management and risk control. Collaborate with the Global Head Conduct & Control to shape risk, compliance and conduct agenda. Resolve audit and compliance findings in a timely manner. Ensure Cash MT focuses on risks and conduct. Escalate risk management matters to relevant risk committee. Develop and strengthen product risk governance. Governance Understand regulatory framework and requirements relevant to the role. Deliver effective governance, challenge executives, work cooperatively with regulators. Escalate to TB NFRC or other Group governance committees where needed. Technology Initiatives Support Cash’s strategic technology initiatives by building business cases for technology investments. Drive adoption of technology solutions to enhance operational efficiency. Identify opportunities to simplify processes and enhance controls. Regulatory & Business Conduct Display exemplary conduct and uphold the Group’s Values and Code of Conduct. Represent the business head in discussions with Group Regulatory Liaison team. Embed highest standards of ethics and compliance across the business. Identify, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters. Business Continuity Management Ensure an adequate Business Continuity Management (BCM) plan is in place across the business.
