Senior Manager, Fintech Commercial at Agoda

Location: Bangkok, Thailand

We are looking for a Senior Manager, Fintech Commercial to join our team in Bangkok. This commercially focused role has high visibility to senior leadership and is responsible for managing relationships with global Payment and FinTech partners and contributing to the development and execution of B2C and B2B products, with a strong focus on foreign exchange (FX) and cross-border payments.

Overview

Join Agoda’s Fintech and Payments team, which builds innovative financial products and solutions to support Agoda’s global travel business. Work with partners and internal stakeholders to deliver seamless payment experiences and drive commercial growth across multiple markets.

Responsibilities
  • Manage partner relationships, negotiate commercials and contracts, and lead projects/programs involving various stakeholders
  • Collaborate with engineering and product teams to develop and test FX pricing and risk management systems
  • Define and implement workflows, policies, and procedures with a focus on automation and scalability
  • Contribute to operations including reconciliation, post-trade analysis, and reporting
  • Identify requirements for exotic currencies for fintech products and work with partners and internal stakeholders like Treasury to support onboarding of new currency corridors
  • Stay informed on market trends, liquidity, and volatility to inform business decisions
  • Support relevant stakeholders in operations as needed, including reconciliation and reporting
  • Support other Pay-in, Pay-out, or fintech/payment innovation initiatives as needed
What you’ll Need to Succeed
  • Minimum 6-7 years of experience in Payments, Fintech, and knowledge/experience in the FX industry
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams
  • Degree in finance, economics, or a related field
  • Good with numbers and able to build business cases and financial models
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
