Job DescriptionThe Visa Direct Commercialization and Solutions team leads Visa’s efforts to support all channels and extend payments beyond the card. Building on Visa Direct’s market-leading platform, the Visa Direct service enables corporates, governments, banks, fintechs, and others to send payments domestically and cross-border and to collect overseas payments for consumers and businesses worldwide.
We are seeking a Product Solutions Team Leader for the Fintech client vertical who can drive critical growth initiatives globally and regionally in a complex, matrixed environment. The ideal candidate is structured, analytical, has excellent communication skills, and a strong interest in how products are developed and delivered. S/he enjoys variety, collaboration, and is client-centric with a focus on solving complex problems.
The Product Solutions Team Leader will report to the Regional Head of Commercialization and Solutions for Visa Direct and will be accountable for presales support, client solutioning, and various commercialization initiatives for Digital Partners, Fintech, Big Tech Platforms, and Merchants launching new programs and use cases, as well as growing existing programs. The role combines product ownership with solutioning to plan, develop, and support commercialization of Visa Direct capabilities such as cross-border payments to accounts and wallets, overseas collections, holds, currency conversions with clients and partners.
The Fintech solutions team is responsible for the sales, commercialization, and solutioning of a suite of Visa Direct money movement solutions. These include money movement services for licensed non-FI clients (remitters, processors, merchants, and service providers) to facilitate fund transfers, disbursements, and overseas collections. Use cases include P2P transfers, transfers to micro-businesses, cross-border remittance, marketplace seller payouts, insurance claim disbursements, acquirer merchant settlements, and overseas collections for Trade and E-marketplaces.
Responsibilities- Lead the Fintech solutions team and collaborate with front-line sales and account executives of Digital Partners, Fintech, Big Tech Platforms, and Merchant clients; coordinate with hub and in-country Visa Direct teams for solution pitches during pre-sales and manage post-sales onboarding and program launches.
- Engage with senior client stakeholders to present value propositions and develop solutions for cross-border opportunities, ensuring timely solution launches and scalable launches that drive revenue realization.
- Consult with clients, partners, and prospects to design solutions that accelerate adoption of Visa Direct.
- Support team members working with segment and sales leads to sell Visa Direct products to Fintech, Digital Partners, Big Tech platforms, and Merchants.
- Provide business and technical solutions for new use cases by assessing market and client needs and collaborating with regional, global, product, and commercialization teams.
- Enable solutions by working with cross-functional stakeholders including Legal, Finance, Client Support, Risk, Compliance, AML, and other product teams across Visa.
- Be a Visa Direct product SME and support client deal implementations and program launches to achieve high-quality, scalable launches that drive revenue.
- Monitor product releases and changes and serve as a focal point for the AP region; represent the voice of the client in the product roadmap and coordinate with product development teams on readiness for new solutions.
- At least 12 years of experience in payments, banking, or payment processing, with presales, product management, or client solutioning roles. Cross-border payments and/or collections experience preferred. Mandarin is a plus.
- Experience developing cross-border payment flows in Asia Pacific, including personal transfers, wallet transfers, overseas collections, and other disbursements for digital or fintech players.
- Strong ability to conduct client conversations and articulate technical solutions clearly.
- Ability to explain complex business and technical concepts to diverse audiences.
- Understanding of mobile, API, and service-oriented architectures.
- Demonstrated leadership and ability to influence teams to execute and achieve results.
- Adaptable to change and ambiguity in a rapidly evolving ecosystem.
- Consultative product solutions experience within enterprise or financial services environments.
- Knowledge of regional markets, competitive dynamics, and related trends.
- Creative problem-solving with the customer at the center.
