The Building Manager reporting to the Senior Property Manager is responsible for managing the Engineering department and all M&E service contractors to ensure the smooth and efficient running of Paya Lebar Quarter.

In this role as a Building Manager, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Supporting the Senior Property Manager in building maintenance and ensuring the smooth operation of the centre, including preventive maintenance schedules, performance of all service contractors, and implementation of company policies.
  • Working closely with the Compliance Manager to ensure the centre’s M&E meets efficiency standards and complies with all local codes and regulations.
  • Preparing monthly management reports and documents.
  • Staff development and creating a strong, efficient operation team.

To be successful in this role, it is desirable, but not essential, to have:

  • Familiarity with Green Mark Building Requirements
  • ACMV knowledge
  • Knowledge of FSSD code (will be an added advantage)
  • Familiarity with local codes of practice for various M&E trades and authorities regulations
  • Experience with submission procedures to authorities
  • Financial management skills, including budgeting and forecasting (an advantage)
